We believe that the best brands have strong beliefs, shared with craft and care. With 15+ years of deep experience in content marketing for B2B SaaS and AI companies, we know that in competitive markets, “good enough” content doesn’t do the trick.
Our clients need senior creatives with the taste that is hard-won from experience, and the technology and tools to make the work frictionless. That’s why teams like Databricks, Instacart, HubSpot, Vercel, Uber, and GitHub trust us to help scale their story.
What Our Clients Say
FAQ
Column Five provides B2B content marketing services through two engagements. Content System Implementation builds and runs the production engine: the senior creative team, the AI tooling, and the processes that connect them, producing blog content, research reports, whitepapers, sales enablement, video, motion graphics, infographics, data visualization, and campaign work every month. Brand Development creates the foundation that engine runs on, covering brand audit and research, positioning, architecture, naming, brand story, messaging, voice, and the full visual identity. Most clients start with whichever of the two is the more urgent need.
Content System Implementation runs $25,000 to $100,000 per month with a three-month minimum, scoped to the volume and formats you need. Brand Development is an eight-week engagement starting at $50,000. Column Five does not bill hourly. We price by engagement so you are paying for outcomes rather than timesheets, and we set each month’s scope against your business goals rather than a fixed deliverable list.
Column Five offers two engagements, and you can start with whichever problem is more urgent. Choose Brand Development when your messaging and design are unclear, inconsistent, or hard to tell apart from your competitors. Choose Content System Implementation when production bottlenecks are blocking growth, or when your brand is drifting as you scale. Many clients run Brand Development first and move into Content System Implementation once the foundation is encoded.
Brand Development answers what you say and how you look. It produces the positioning, story, messaging, voice, and visual identity, encoded into guidelines and a design system your teams can actually use. Content System Implementation answers how much of that you can ship. It combines a dedicated senior creative team with AI-augmented workflows to produce content at volume without the brand drifting. The two are built to connect, so Brand Development ends in encoded rules the content system runs on directly.
A content system is the combination of people, tools, and process that lets a brand publish consistently without re-deciding how the work gets made every time. It includes the encoded brand, meaning the story, messaging, voice, and visual rules a team can execute against. It includes the strategy that sets channels, formats, and sequence. And it includes the production workflows that turn those inputs into finished content. Column Five builds and operates these systems for B2B SaaS and AI companies.
Column Five has 15+ years of experience as a B2B content marketing agency working with SaaS and AI brands. Recent and longtime clients include Databricks, Instacart, HubSpot, Vercel, Uber, and GitHub. We work most often with cybersecurity, fintech, developer tools, cloud infrastructure, analytics, and adtech companies. Our sweet spot is companies where the product is complex, the market is crowded, and generic content does not move the needle.
