LinkedIn Camp & Hackday Branding
LinkedIn was looking for a fresh visual identity for two of their internal programs: their global hackday program and a new “makers” space to support innovation. They specifically needed flexible identities to use across promotional collateral, apparel, and other physical items, as well as a name for the makers space.
Both initiatives started with an in-depth discovery exercise designed to uncover the core themes each program wanted to convey through the visual identity. For the Hackday branding, we focused on strengthening their existing wizard character to bring the brand the life. For the makers, we developed the name Create and Make Program (CAMP), which lent itself to a more visula identity. The result was a comprehensive set of branding tools, including a style guide, to empower the team to create consistent, quality content to promote the programs.
